Sagada town is one the towns in the Mountain Province.Known for its
mossy and fog capped mountain
ranges,hanging coffins, falls and caves.
I had the time to explore the town and it was indeed an experienceto remember.
Had
my stay at the George Guesthouse which was indeed a home away from
home. They've got the friendliest crew and the hot shower one would
really need as Sagada's temp would give a chill. They also have cable TV
and WI-Fi access.
What To Do. - There are a lot of things to do at
Sagada - from trekking to caving, orange picking and a lot more. It was a
challenge for me looking for the right path to the hanging coffins but
when i finally found it - it was worth it. The caving was kind of rough
but what's inside the cave puts me in such an awe. It was a work of
nature perfected thru time.
The Food. - The Pinikpikan House can
give you the best Pinipikan a local specialty and a freshly brewed
Mountaqin Tea in the morning will keep you going.
A warning though - before going to Sagada please have
some substantial amount of cash with you as the town does not have a lot of ATM (machines) and credit cards are not available.
The nearest ATM is at the Bontoc town 50 mins from away from Sagada.
If your planning your next trip do it at Sagada.
